1. Initial Assessment Requirement
1.1 All clients must complete a Reformer Initial Assessment prior to attending any duet or group class.
1.2 The assessment ensures clinical suitability and appropriate class allocation.
1.3 Strides Physiotherapy reserves the right to decline group participation if clinically inappropriate.
2. Medical Disclosure
2.1 Clients must disclose all injuries, medical conditions, pregnancies, or changes in health status.
2.2 Clients must inform their treating physiotherapist of any symptom changes prior to class participation.
2.3 Participation without disclosure is at the client’s own risk.
3. Membership & Billing
3.1 Memberships are billed weekly via direct debit.
3.2 All memberships have a minimum 12 week commitment.
3.3 Memberships automatically continue after the minimum term unless cancelled in writing.
3.4 Fees may be reviewed annually with notice provided.
4. Private Health Rebates
4.1 Weekly invoices will be issued for eligible services.
4.2 Clients are responsible for submitting claims to their private health insurer.
4.3 Rebates vary depending on individual policy coverage.
4.4 Strides Physiotherapy does not guarantee rebate eligibility.
5. Class Attendance & Cancellations
5.1 Subscription Members

If a class is cancelled with adequate notice, clients may attend another group class within the same billing week, subject to availability.

Makeup classes are not guaranteed.

Classes do not roll over into future weeks.
5.2 Late Cancellation Policy

Cancellations within 12 hours of class start time will result in forfeiture of that session.

Failure to attend (no-show) will result in forfeiture of that session.
5.3 Casual Bookings

Casual sessions must be paid in full at time of booking.

Standard 12-hour cancellation policy applies.
6. Membership Pauses
6.1 A minimum of 2 weeks written notice is required to pause a membership.
6.2 Minimum pause duration: 1 week
6.3 Maximum pause allowance: 4 weeks per 6-month period.
6.4 Medical pauses may require supporting documentation.
6.5 Direct debits will continue during insufficient notice periods.
7. Membership Cancellation
7.1 Memberships may not be cancelled during the initial 12 week minimum term.
7.2 After the minimum term, cancellation requires 14 days written notice.
7.3 Outstanding balances must be settled prior to termination.
8. Safety & Conduct
8.1 Grip socks must be worn during all reformer sessions.
8.2 Clients must arrive on time. Late arrival may result in inability to participate.
8.3 Strides Physiotherapy reserves the right to refuse participation if a client presents in a condition deemed unsafe for exercise.
8.4 Respectful conduct toward staff and other participants is required at all times.
9. Clinical Discretion
9.1 As a physiotherapy-led service, programming decisions are made at the discretion of the treating physiotherapist.
9.2 Clients may be progressed, regressed, or removed from group classes based on clinical reasoning.
9.3 Recommendations to return to 1:1 sessions must be followed where safety is concerned.
10. Liability
10.1 Participation in reformer sessions involves inherent physical activity risks.
10.2 Clients acknowledge they are voluntarily participating in exercise.
10.3 Strides Physiotherapy is not liable for injuries resulting from undisclosed conditions or failure to follow instruction.
11. Pricing & Changes
11.1 Pricing is subject to change with 30 days notice.
11.2 Class schedules are subject to change based on demand and staffing.
